U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, National Institutes of Health, National Institute on Drug Abuse announces the availability of funding for implementation of the Exploratory Studies of Smoking Cessation Interventions for People With Schizophrenia (R21/R33) Grant. The purpose of this grant is to generate and conduct preliminary tests of targeted smoking cessation treatments for individuals with schizophrenia. Smokers with schizophrenia who have co-occurring alcohol and/or substance abuse disorders are also a population of interest.
