Iowa Department of Human Services (DHS) seeks a contractor to administer a Children at Home program in Wapello, Mahaska, Monroe and Keokuk Counties.. The Children at Home program provides direct support to families of children with disabilities through small cash grants and by helping parents locate other formal and informal resources. The Service Provider will also be required to form an advisory council with the majority of the members consisting of parents of a child with a disability. The advice of parents is highly valued by the DHS because of their knowledge of what it takes to raise a child . . .
