Mississippi's Leflore County, Department of Human Services seeks a contractor to administer at-risk youth programs in disadvantaged communities in Mississippi to prevent and reduce at-risk behaviors among youth, ages 10-15, in low-income families, and to prevent, or break the cycle of, welfare dependence. Services/activities include, but are not limited to, reducing and preventing out-of-wedlock pregnancies, prevention/intervention/reduction of substance abuse (use of alcohol, drugs and tobacco products) and prevention/reduction, other behaviors that prevent the attainment of a high school diploma or GED.
