Texas Fifth Judicial District Department of Corrections awarded a contract to Employee & Family Resources to provide substance abuse evaluations, referrals to treatment agencies, and treatment case monitoring of defendants. The District is also sought as many individuals as necessary, provided by the contractor, to provide substance abuse education, programming including family group, referrals as needed, mandatory attendance at weekly staffing meetings(2 ? hours) and court sessions (4 hours) as well as administering and monitoring urinalysis to Drug Court and Youthful Offender Program participants. Contract period is January 16, 2009 through June 30, 2010. Contract amount is a maximum $148,000 . . .
