Georgia's DeKalb County Workforce Development seeks a contractor to provide Youth System Programs (YSP), funded through the Workforce Investment Act (WIA). YSPs are activates targeting in-school youth (ages 14-21), programs targeted to out of school youth (ages 16-21 yrs.) and programs intended for international youth. The WIA requires that local youth programs must provide preparation for postsecondary educational opportunities, in appropriate cases; strong linkages between academic and occupational learning; preparation for unsubsidized employment opportunities, in appropriate cases; and effective connections to intermediaries with strong links to the job market and local and regional employers . . .
