U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, National Institutes of Health, National Institute on Drug Abuse announces the availability of funding for implementation of the Extracellular Vesicles in HIV/AIDS and Substance Abuse (R21) Exploratory/Developmental Research Grant. The purpose of this grant is to encourage research projects that investigate extracellular vesicles in HIV infection/progression or as potential HIV/AIDS biomarkers or therapeutics. The R21 exploratory/developmental grant supports investigation of novel scientific ideas or new model systems, tools, or technologies that have the potential for significant impact on biomedical or biobehavioral research.
