U.S. National Institutes of Health, National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases announces the availability of funding for the implementation of the Hepatitis C Cooperative Research Centers: Immunity to HCV Infection (U19) grant. The purpose of the Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) is to support research on the host immunological response to Hepatitis C Virus (HCV) infection with the goal of defining the immune requirements critical to a) protection against HCV infection, and b) successful clearance of HCV infection, conducted through Hepatitis C Cooperative Research Centers (HepC Center(s).
