U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, National Institutes of Health, National Institute on Aging announces the availability of funding for implementation of the Solid Organ Transplantation (SOT): Older Donors and Recipients (R21) Exploratory/Developmental Research Grant Award. The purpose of this grant is to enhance knowledge of immunobiology in aging and transplantation, and to provide evidence-based guidance to improve access to transplantation, organ allocation and utilization, graft survival, and short- and long-term outcomes of SOT in older persons.
