California's Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health seeks a contractor to educate, empower, and heal the rising generation of Filipino-American youth in Los Angeles through storytelling and illustrations. Through collaboration with community agencies, Filipino-American youth will be recruited and provided education about mental health issues and resources and introduced to the art of comic book writing. They will be provided with training and technical assistance in writing their own comic book. Each youth participant will write a comic book illustrating how mental health issues impact his/her life . . .
