California's San Mateo County Department Human Services Agency seeks a contractor to serve as the Grievance Hearing Officer for Children and Family Services. The contractor will provide services to individuals wishing to challenge a substantiated child abuse or neglect finding that has been investigated by a San Mateo County social worker and forwarded to the Department of Justice. The contractor will review case information pertaining to the grievance hearing and makes a determination as to whether the allegation of child abuse and/or severe neglect is unfounded, inconclusive, or substantiated, as defined by Penal Code section 11165.12 . . .
