North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services, Division of Health Benefits seeks a contractor to provide information regarding a solution that provides visibility into claim-related transactions transferred between Providers and Health Plans which are not sent as an encounters to the Department. The claim-related transactions of interest are primarily claims pended by Health Plans during processing for various reasons, claims rejected by Health Plans for not meeting billing guidelines, and Electronic Data Interchange transactions pertaining to claim status, claim acknowledgement, request for additional information, remittance advise and file received acknowledgement.
