Building Bridges To Better Mental Health In New York City
*Please note that due to unforeseen circumstances, this summit has been moved to 2023. Please stay tuned for more details.
Join us for an interactive web-based meeting, as key thought leaders from local New York City mental health organizations, including key stakeholders from health plans, providers and provider organizations, government, advocacy, and policy institutions, come together to share best practices, uncover gaps in care, and identify actionable plans for improving behavioral health care in their respective communities. This by-invitation-only summit, produced by OPEN MINDS and powered by Otsuka America Pharmaceutical, Inc., focuses on identifying the opportunities for increasing collaboration in New York to reduce barriers in accessing mental health care.
The expert driven discussion will be used to create a framework for future collaborative initiatives. The results of the summit – the recorded discussion and the following white paper on the collaboration framework – will be shared as a resource to the over 70,000 members of PsychU.org and the 190,000 members of OPEN MINDS.
The summit will have three key discussion sessions:
- Where Mental Health Treatment Access Works – Or Not
- Improving Care Continuity Across Health, Social & Law Enforcement
- Collaboration Best Practices & Policy Solutions In Responding To Crisis Mental Health Care
