Configuring Your EHR To Optimize Quality Data: Building the Foundation for Better Insights

Configuring Your EHR To Optimize Quality Data: Building the Foundation for Better Insights

September 16 @ 1:00 pm 2:00 pm

For behavioral health and human services organizations, the EHR is more than a documentation system. It can be a powerful source of timely, actionable data. But realizing that potential requires thoughtful configuration, structured data capture, workflow alignment, and a clear understanding of how the information will be used.

Join Mary Schantz, Executive Vice President of Administrative Operations at The Village Network, and Christy Winter, Chief Product Officer at Cantata Health Solutions, for a practical discussion of how provider organizations can optimize their EHR to strengthen data quality, improve reporting, and support better operational and clinical decision-making.

Drawing on real-world initiatives at The Village Network, the session will explore strategies for establishing effective EHR governance, designing workflows around reporting needs, integrating external data sources, and reducing manual processes.

The presenters will also examine common barriers and lessons learned when implementing an EHR, along with the growing role of artificial intelligence in behavioral health technology and why AI readiness begins with data readiness.

Attendees will leave with practical considerations they can apply to new EHR implementations, optimization initiatives, and future AI integrations.

At the conclusion of this webinar, attendees will be able to:

  • Apply practical strategies for aligning EHR configuration with clinical and operational workflows while reducing manual processes and documentation burden.
  • Identify the key planning, governance, workflow, and change-management considerations that contribute to successful EHR optimization.
  • Explain how structured data capture and reporting-focused EHR configuration can improve data integrity and support more timely quality measurement.
