Maria Warren, Senior Director, Clinical Consulting Services, joined McBee in 2010 and leads the clinical compliance and episode management service lines. Her wealth of knowledge and expertise in home health and hospice operations, revenue cycle and financial consulting enables her to guide her clients to improved clinical outcomes, increased cash flow, and effective implementation of operational best practices.
Maria leads the clinical compliance services team of more than 30 consultants with expertise in home health, hospice and private duty clinical and billing compliance. The team serves the industry by providing merger and acquisition clinical compliance reviews, medical denial reviews, corporate compliance reviews, and accreditation/survey assessment and preparation. In 2020, the team completed 19 publicly announced transactions carrying a combined revenue of $1.8B+. McBee has served as an advisor on both the buy and sell sides of some of the most notable transactions in the industry.
Before taking on this leadership role, Maria led her team in revenue cycle assessments, CBO set-up and re-design, and interim management positions. Her areas of expertise include revenue cycle and operational re-design and strategy, EMR feature and functionality reviews, post-acquisition financial reconciliations, and clinical diligence support.
