How To Build A Crisis Response Plan: The Hill Country Case Study

July 01, 2021

How do you maintain organizational resilience and remain sustainable during and after a crisis like COVID-19? One approach is to understand and implement a plan like FEMA’s Incident Command System (ICS). In this executive web forum, we will present the case study of Hill Country Mental Health and Developmental Disability Centers’ use of ICS in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

In this executive web forum (taking place on July 1 at 1pm ET) executive attendees will:

  • Be introduced to Hill Country MHDD Centers and its scope of operations.
  • Gain a basic understanding FEMAs Incident Command System (ICS).
  • Learn how the ICS may be utilized and implemented by an organization on a local/regional level in response to a short or long-term crisis.
  • Understand the steps to take when initiating an ICS, appreciate the need for flexibility throughout the duration of the ICS response, and know how to respond to changes in circumstance to meet the needs of the organization and its stakeholders.
