To better manage member enrollment, authorization of services, and claims processing, Eastpointe, a mental health agency with offices in 12 southeastern North Carolina counties, has developed a new software system. This comes after the dramatic increase to the volume of data that must be processed in North Carolina’s continuing reforms of its public behavioral health and intellectual/developmental disability systems. Beginning March 30, Eastpointe will transition to AlphaMCS, a software that was specifically designed for use by behavioral health managed care organizations.
