Optum and HealthBI recently announced they are partnering to improve providers’ risk-based performance, beginning with Medicare Advantage plans. Through the partnership, the two hope to prevent provider organizations from having to “chart chase” at the end of the year for patient data.

By helping provider organizations to keep track of electronic medical record data, it is anticipated that they will have more success in managing workflow and meeting quality-based metrics.
