October 23, 2011 A study conducted by the Organisation for Economic Co-Operation and Development reviewed health care spending and outcomes in 34 industrialized countries. The researchers found that despite the high cost of health care person per year (more than $7,900), Americans still die earlier than other people in the industrialized world.
