The children and family services market encompasses a wide range of services and supports for children who are involved with the child welfare system and/or who have complex physical and behavioral health conditions. South Dakota Refines Policy For Kinship Care Licensing To Encourage Family-Based Foster Care Placements 

The South Dakota Department of Social Services implemented new policies to create a licensing pathway for kinship foster care in the state.
