Montana Renewal For 1115 Medicaid Demonstration Waiver For Additional Services & Populations

On June 30, 2022, the Governor of the State of Montana published this renewal application of the Section 1115 Medicaid Demonstration Waiver for Additional Services and Populations (WASP). The application requested a five-year renewal of the waiver. The demonstration provides expenditure authority for twelve-month continuous eligibility and coverage of health care services for lower-income individuals age 18 or older who are not otherwise eligible for Medicaid, who have been diagnosed with a severe disabling mental illness of schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, major depression, or another severe disabling mental illness.
