Connecticut Medicaid Maternity Bundled Payment Program: Stakeholder Advisory Council Presentation On June 21, 2022

The presentation was released on June 21, 2022, by the Stakeholder Advisory Council developing the upcoming Connecticut Medicaid Maternity Bundled Payment Program. Starting in the summer of 2023, the Connecticut Medicaid program, called Husky Health, intends to implement a “maternity bundle” to replace its current fee-for-service approach. The new bundle will include traditional maternity care additional maternity benefits, such as doula care and breastfeeding support for the 40 weeks of pregnancy and 12 months postpartum.
