King County Superior Court Jackson Place Alliance for Equity v. City of Seattle, et al. Ruling

On January 9, 2012, Jackson County Superior Court released a ruling on a lawsuit, Jackson Place Alliance for Equity v. City of Seattle, et al. The lawsuit was filed attempting to stop the Crisis Solutions Center program from being sited in the neighborhood, which halted the opening of the center that was slated to open in mid-2011. The court ruled in favor of the Crisis Solutions Center and denied the Land Use Petition Act challenge. The Crisis Solutions Center will provide short term psychiatric stabilization.
