Health Care Quality Measurement: HHS Should Address Contractor Performance and Plan for Needed Measures

The US. Government Accountability Office (GAO)interviwed officials from the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the National Quality Forum (NQF) to examine the status of the projects under the required contract activities between both entities. GAO recommended that HHS use all required monitoring tools to help address NQF's perfomance and to complete the testing of retooled measures.
