Aetna Better Health Of Florida Collaborates With Emcara Health For Home-Based Primary Care For Medicaid Members

Emcara Health, PopHealthCare’s national value-based medical group that delivers advanced in-home primary care for seniors and under-resourced populations, is collaborating with Aetna Better Health of Florida, a CVS Health company. The collaboration will combine direct care delivery, attention to social care needs, and 24/7 support. The relationship extends Emcara Heath’s value-based comprehensive primary care model – which includes behavioral health and social determinants of health assessments – to adult Aetna Medicaid members in Florida. Aetna Better Health of Florida anticipates the collaboration will improve member health outcomes and reduce the cost of care.
