Baptist Health & Encompass Health Move Forward With Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospital In Louisville, Kentucky

Baptist Health and Encompass Health Corp. are moving forward with plans for Rehabilitation Hospital of Louisville LLC, a proposed inpatient rehabilitation hospital and joint venture in Jefferson County, Kentucky. Construction on the new hospital is expected to begin in 2023 with completion scheduled for spring 2024.The organizations first announced the plans in October 2021 when they received a certificate of need to build and operate the 40-bed facility. The hospital is expected to operate as a joint venture between Encompass Health and Baptist Health.
