On February 7, 2012, William Hall filed a class action lawsuit against the Senior Health Insurance Company of Pennsylvania (SHIP) protesting how SHIP handled long-term care insurance claims. The proposed class includes California residents with SHIP long-term care policies. The plaintiffs allege that SHIP imposed unreasonable documentation requirements on policy holders.
