UT Southwestern Medical Center Expands ‘Youth Aware Of Mental Health’ Prevention Program
The UT Southwestern Medical Center is expanding its Youth Aware of Mental Health (YAM) program to bring training for schools on depression and anxiety awareness for middle schools and high schools. YAM provides an evidence-based mental health promotion and crisis prevention program for adolescents. The expansion is funded by a state grant of $11.5 million.
