Resilience Lab Therapists For Virtual Mental Health Platform Petition To Unionize

Mental health therapists working for Resilience Lab, a New York City-based startup that matches consumer with remote therapists, petitioned the National Labor Relations Board to join DC 37. The push to unionize came after the company fired 12 therapists in November 2022. DC 37 is New York City's largest municipal employee union and represents the public hospital workers.

"While we respect our colleagues' rights to seek union representation or vote against joining, we do not believe this model provides the necessary flexibility for the current stage of development of Resilience Lab to continue providing the best possible treatment . . .
