Care, Community, Action: A Mental Health Plan For New York City

On March 1, 2023, the New York Governor Eric Adams and the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene published this care, community, and action mental health plan for New York City. This plan is the culmination of collaboration with City and State agencies, service providers, mental health advocates and people with lived mental illness and addiction experience to discuss the goals and initiatives for goals aimed at improving
quality of life, promoting mental health and saving lives, and that pay heightened attention to the communities who have been most and disproportionately affected by disinvestment in mental health . . .
