Pilot Dental Residency Program In Western North Carolina To Provide Complex Oral Health Training
The North Carolina Oral Health Collaborative (NCOHC) and the Mountain Area Health Education Center (MAHEC) launched a pilot program to train safety-net dentists to better care for consumers with complex oral health needs. They announced the first cohort of three participants on March 16, 2023.
The three dentists work in Federally Qualified Health Centers, public health departments, and other safety-net oral health facilities. The participants are:
