New Hampshire DHHS Medicaid Coordinated Care Organizations Contract Recommendations

On March 21 2012, the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services selected bids from three Medicaid Care Management Organizations (MCOs). The three MCOs will cover all Medicaid services in a three-phase roll-out: Starting July 1, 2012, they will cover all Medicaid state plan services, pharmacy and mental health; starting July 1, 2013, they will cover specialty long-term care, including nursing homes and developmental disabilities services; and starting January 2014, they will cover all services for the Medicaid expansion population.
