Florida DCF Letter To Agency Partners Regarding CPI Investigations

On February 17, 2023, The Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF) published this letter that was sent to its Agency Partners about submitting a proposal to revert Child Protective Investigator (CPI) functions back to DCF. Per the letter: "Over the coming months, the Department will be working with the Florida Legislature to formulate a plan that ensures as smooth of a transition as possible. This includes providing ample opportunities for CPIs, CPI supervisors and support staff to transition to the Department to ensure a continuity of services . . .
