Feinstein Awarded $3.4 Million From Wellcome To Test Schizophrenia Treatment rTMS
The Feinstein Institutes for Medical Research was awarded a $3.4 million grant by Wellcome for a study using repetitive transcranial stimulation (rTMS) to treat schizophrenia. The study will test whether rTMS improves social cognitive performance of people living with schizophrenia over the course of five years. Wellcome is a London-based charitable foundation which focuses on funding health research.
