New York OMH Seeks Supported Housing for Nursing Home Residents with Serious Mental Illness

The New York State Office of Mental Health (OMH) announces a request for proposals (RFP) for the development and operation of 200 units of Supported Housing located in the five boroughs of New York City (NYC) and the counties of Nassau and Westchester. Providers will facilitate the transition to the community of persons with serious mental illness (SMI) residing in both in state and out of state nursing homes that serve New York State residents. The RFP was released April 2, 2012; applications were due May 22, 2012.
