Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community To Add Residential Treatment Facility In Arizona

The Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community in Scottsdale, Arizona broke ground on the Journey to Recovery Residential Treatment Facility in Scottsdale. Services will include withdrawal management, addiction treatment, and crisis stabilization.

The facility includes a 48-bed, 21,000-square-foot residential unit; resident common areas; a commercial kitchen; intake and detox; and daycare. In addition, a 7,800-square foot outpatient facility is also included. In total, the campus will provide residential treatment units, meeting rooms, counseling offices, a ceremonial talking circle, and outdoor gazebos and courtyards.
