Baptist Health La Grange In Kentucky Plans To Invest $10 Million To Create A Hospital-Based Behavioral Health Unit

Baptist Health La Grange plans to invest $10 million to create a hospital-based behavioral health unit in its hospital in Oldham County, Kentucky. The unit, to be located in an existing wing of the hospital, will  provide 11 private rooms, space for specialized therapy, and an outdoor area.

Renovations are slated to begin during the summer of 2023, and the new unit will open during 2024. Psychiatrist Kristine Baula, MD, will serve as medical director for Behavioral Health at Baptist Health La Grange.
