ACF Memo: Promoting Social and Emotional Well-Being for Children and Youth Receiving Child Welfare Services

The Administration for Children, Youth, & Families (ACYF) has recommended that state child welfare systems use assessments that capture data on children's social and emotional well-being. The recommendations were released to promote social and emotional well-being in children and youth receiving child welfare services. ACYF is encouraging child welfare agencies to work to improve social-emotional and behavioral outcomes for children.
