Community Healthlink Launches $1 Million Mobile Crisis Response Pilot In Worcester, Massachusetts

Community Healthlink (CHL) and the City of Worcester, Massachusetts launched a $1 million pilot mental health community mobile crisis response program for emergency calls with substance use and mental health components. The pilot was funded by the city and developed by CHL a program of UMass Memorial Health. Development also included the City’s Emergency Communications and Management Department, Worcester Police Department (WPD), Worcester Fire Department (WFD), Worcester Emergency Medical Services (WEMS), and local hospitals and community-based organizations.
