Acadia Healthcare & Geisinger Partner Open First Of Two Behavioral Health Hospitals In Pennsylvania

Acadia Healthcare Company, Inc. opened its newest operating joint venture hospital in partnership with Geisinger. Geisinger Behavioral Health Center Northeast, located in Moosic, Pennsylvania, is a state-of-the-art, 96-bed facility that will offer a full continuum of inpatient behavioral health care services and intensive outpatient programs for adult, adolescent, and pediatric consumers. The new hospital will also serve as a teaching hospital, training students and residents from Geisinger’s College of Health Sciences.
