Stipulation & Order Amending California Department of Corrections & Rehabilitation Parole Field Operations Section Of Armstrong Remedial Plan

On June 12, 2023, the U.S. District court in the Northern District of California published this stipulation and order amending the California Department of Corrections & Rehabilitation (CDCR) parole field operations section of the Armstrong Remedial Plan. CDCR agreed to the following:

Release inmates with a 60-day supply of their prescription medications, up from the previous 30-day requirement.
Replace medical equipment lost within the first month of an inmate’s being released from prison.
Submit applications for Medi-Cal, California’s version of Medicaid, on behalf of inmates at least 90 days before discharged.
