The Massachusetts Bureau of Substance Abuse Services released findings and recommendations on a study regarding sober housing. Sober housing, also refered to as Alcohol and Drug Free (ADF) Housing, is a form of group home for individuals recovering from alcohol or substance abuse disorders. The report includes a description of ADF housing, as well as legal authority to regulate ADF housing and documentation of complaints or problems allegedly related to the operation of ADF housing.
