Mercy Health & Lifepoint Rehabilitation Break Ground On New Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospital

Mercy Health - Youngstown and Lifepoint Rehabilitation, a business unit of Lifepoint Health, broke ground on a new inpatient rehabilitation hospital. The new hospital is the result of a joint venture partnership between Mercy Health - Youngstown and Lifepoint Rehabilitation that was announced last year. The hospital is expected to open in late 2024.

The 66,000-square-foot, two-story facility, to be called Mercy Health Rehabilitation Hospital, will have 60 beds, all private rooms, multidisciplinary therapy gymnasiums outfitted with the latest therapeutic technologies, outdoor courtyards and other spaces designed to help patients return to activities of daily living.
