Chronic Conditions Market Update: An OPEN MINDS Market Intelligence Report

Medical conditions that cause recurring health problems lasting from months to years are known as chronic conditions. Utilizing the Office of Assistant Secretary for Health (OASH)-identified chronic conditions and information;from the Medical Expenditure Panel Survey (MEPS) on health care expenditures, medical conditions, and events, data analysis was conducted across the following 11 chronic medical condition categories: heart-related conditions, mental disorders, cancer, osteoarthritis and other nontraumatic joint disorders, asthma and other respiratory conditions, diabetes, hypertension, kidney disease, hyperlipidemia, infectious disease, and other bone and musculoskeletal diseases.
