CMS Approval Of Vermont’s Global Commitment To Health 1115 Demonstration Waiver Extension

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) approved the Medicaid 1115 demonstration waiver extension on June 28, 2023. It allows Vermont to continue to fund a range of initiatives, from reducing the rate of uninsured and underinsured individuals to lowering health care costs, increasing access to quality health care, improving public health, investing in social determinants of health, and advancing home and community-based services and supports.
