On June 23, 2023, the Arizona House of Representatives published this text of House Bill 2651: an act amending Section 8-810 of the Arizona Revised Statutes (ARS) relating to missing children. ARS 8-810, the Child Safety statute, had no time frame requirement listed to report when a child in state custody went missing.
