New Jersey College Launches Academy For Neurodiversity With Housing For Students With I/DD
A new Academy for Neurodiversity is launching at Rowan College of South Jersey (RCSJ) for young adult students with intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD). The program will offer students multiple levels of education and workforce training, medical, behavioral health services, legal advocacy, transportation, athletics and recreation, and an on-site housing complex called The Residences at South College Drive.
The Residences at South College Drive will include 24 one-bedroom rent-supported apartments for individuals with I/DD. It will feature a community room, lounges, laundry facilities and office space for an on-site Counselor of Special Services.
