California Awards $144 Million To 145 Organizations To Build Capacity For Enhanced Care Management & Community Supports
California’s Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) awarded $144 million to 145 provider organizations that offer Enhanced Care Management (ECM) and community supports. These services are part of the state's effort to create a more coordinated, person-centered, and equitable Medi-Cal system. DHCS said the funding can be used to support the organizations’ ECM and community supports services through investments in provider workforce, infrastructure and IT systems, and capacity building.
