Founded in 1981, Vail Place is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides community-based support and recovery services for adults with serious mental illness using a club house, integrated approach to care. Vail Place is accredited by Clubhouse International. Their mission statement is "to help people with serious mental illnesses avoid crisis, achieve stability, and pursue active, fulfilling lives based on their individual abilities. We do this through a work- and relationship-oriented approach that empowers each person to take control of his or her recovery.”
