Charter Schools: Additional Federal Attention Needed to Help Protect Access for Students with Disabilities (GAO-12-543)

In June 2012, the U.S. Government Accountability Office released a report on students with disabilities. The report found that charter schools enroll fewer students with disabilities than traditional public schools. The report also found that charter schools are more likely than public schools to have more than 20% of students with disabilities enrolled.
