KKR, Hologic & Ajax Health Partner On New Medical Device Innovation Platform, Maverix Medical 

Ajax Health is set to manage a new platform for accelerating medical device innovation, called Maverix Medical. The platform, created with investments from KKR and Hologic, is expected to develop and acquire innovative technologies and commercial operations within the lung cancer disease category.;

Under the partnership, KKR and Ajax Health will contribute their existing portfolio company Serpex Medical to the platform. Serpex Medical has developed innovative steerable technology that targets lung tissue precisely for biopsy or therapy delivery.
